Born in England  Maggie’s creativity developed early from the age of 12 with a passion for designing, dressmaking and tailoring. In 1974 Maggie emigrated to Mandurah, Western Australia where she continued to design, make and wear her own designs .

In 1991 Maggie completed a Preliminary Certificate in Art and Design, then in 2012 following an absence of 20 years from art her passion was reignited by attending a workshop by Jana Vodesil-baruffi.

Maggie loves abstraction, impressionism and a sense of mischief, and is inspired by artists like Monet, Alvaro Castagnet, Richard Robinson, Jos Coufreur and Leon Holmes. Since joining the Mandurah Plein Air group she feels her skills will continue to develop and grow with these very talented and supportive artists.
