Aussie TV show comes to Mandurah
Graeme Stevenson, the TV personality from the Colour in Your Life TV show, will be filming in Mandurah next month. Artists and fans will have the opportunity to meet him at a special event to be held at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah on July 2nd at 12 noon.
Hosted by the Mandurah Plein Air Artists (Inc) and Plein Air Down Under, Mandurah’s outdoor painting festival, this free presentation will focus on the Power of Video Marketing and is open to all artists who have an interest in promoting themselves and their art practice. MICHAEL HARDING Paint Demonstration, 16 March 2016
Michael Harding, the UK’s premier maker of hand crafted oil paint is in Perth for one day only. Michael is providing a free art materials talk and hands on demonstration using his high quality oils for all to experience.
PASTELS, EN PLEIN AIR with Trudi Whitcher, 5 April 2016
This FREE workshop is funded by the Stretch Arts Festival Grant Scheme and offers a maximum of 15 community members the opportunity to learn how to paint en plein air, using pastels. Materials will be supplied.
In exchange for this free tuition, participants will need to be available for a four and a half hour shift on the festival weekend of Saturday 7 or Sunday 8 May, as part of a plein air activity. An outdoor “easel station” will be set up as part of the festival and workshop attendees will encourage the public to have a go painting en plein air, using pastels.

His unique style captures the essence of the natural light and allows every piece of artwork to tell its own story.
Leon will be talking about the importance of constant experimentation to master skills and become a greater artist.
PAINTING RETREAT

The cost will be approx. $60 per person per night in the lodge, or $70 per person per night in the 2 bedroom chalets. This may vary by $10 if we need to apply a single supplement. There are 10 individual rooms and if there are more than 10, we can discuss share options.
Catering is available for lunch and dinner, approx. $35 per day, per person. This can be finalised closer to the date with the Blue Wren Café.
ANDREW TISCHLER WORKSHOP Tuesday 25 August 2015
Andrew will be conducting this workshop “en plein air”. He will commence with a one and a half hour demonstration, followed by individual attention for each participant.
Both Andrew’s Perth workshops sold out within 24 hours and first preference will be given to paid up members of Mandurah Plein Air Artists Plus.
Maximum of 15 people and our members discounted rate is $110 per person. ($125 for non members).
