Mandurah Plein Air Artists (Inc) was established in 2011 and is a not-for profit self-funded community art organization.
The group meets each Tuesday morning to paint en plein air and well as providing a fun and interesting environment, it provides a platform for connection with like-minded people.
Our Facebook Page lists each week’s painting venue and artists of all skill and experience levels are welcome to participate. Click on the link to find the event, then click ‘going’.
Workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions are an integral part of our skill development.
The group also hosts Plein Air Down Under, an outdoor painting festival. Although plans are underway for the 2020 event, new dates will be advised once the current health crisis abates.
The aims of the group are:
to provide a friendly environment and foster the development and enjoyment of plein air painting through practice, mentoring, workshops and exhibitions.
