Painting to heal the soul, Katy was born with a creative spirit, but works full time for finance. After almost 15 years of not painting, she has yielded to an inner yearning for something important missing in her life. Art was always on the shelf, waiting.
Katy is training her eye to see the beauty of this world, its light, colours and composition. She loves the challenge and is often surprised by the results.
Katy feels the experience has had a positive affect on her life and relates to the following quote of Pablo Picasso; “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life”.
