Lynn developed her love of painting on a family holiday to the Netherlands in the 1980’s where her grandfather, an accomplished painter himself, introduced her to oil painting. With the desire to improve her skills she attended classes with local artist Irene Osborne and in 2001 completed a Cert III in Visual Arts at Challenger TAFE.

Lynn is motivated by experimenting with different art mediums including resin and Powertex. She recently won the Powertex award for her creation Ironland in the Wearable Art Mandurah 2018 awards. As a member of Mandurah Plein Air Artists group since 2017 Lynn continues to paint in oils but also enjoys working with other mediums from time to time.
