AIVEEN O’DONOVAN has always enjoyed working with colour and making her children’s clothing in their early years changed in more recent years to making quilts. She derives great satisfaction in seeing her work grow into something beautiful colourful and useful.
On retiring she took painting and drawing classes at Peel TAFE, finding that same excitement and satisfaction in working with acrylic and watercolour paints. As she works most days on her paints or fabrics she finds that she is rapidly running out of space!
Aiveen has been part of group exhibitions as well as community art projects for the Stretch Arts Festival and Crab Fest and is a regular participant in the Crab Fest En Plein Air Art Competition.
