Corrine Rapley moved to peaceful Bouvard, South of Mandurah in 2010. There the scenic waters and vegetation of Peel Harvey Estuary are a constant source of inspiration.
Her appreciation for nature, colour, light play and emotional impressions, continually motivates her to recreate the same sentiment for the artwork observer.
In addition to painting weekly En Plein Air with MPAA, Corrine is a member of the Still Life and Portrait group of Mandurah, and also a founding member of Vivid Art Collective Inc. which recently opened “Vivid Gallery” Smart St Mall, Mandurah.
The Artist furthermore enjoys exploring new creative techniques in her home studio, working in Acrylics, Oils and Mixed Media, and her artwork style could be described as Contemporary Realism.
