Marion Player says her interest in art, which she has never lost, started in her school years.

Over the years, and numerous breaks, she has tried most mediums including China Painting. She attended TAFE for 3 years and at the end of the course received a Certificate of On-glaze Painting. 

After completing that course she painted in that medium for some time and then decided to go back to her first choice of mediums which has always been Water Colours, and which she has carried on with. 

Marion says “Since moving to Mandurah I have joined Mandurah Plein Air Artists which has been a challenge for me as previously I always painted in the studio.  I am really enjoying painting at the different sites chosen by someone in the group each week & trying to reproduce what we see around us.”
