Deanne studied art in the late 80’s and again at Mandurah TAFE in 2007, and from there, an art group began, known as the Mandurah Plein Air Artisans.
Deanne paints en plein air as well as studio work and likes to incorporate a slight abstract to her art. When traveling overseas Deanne always finds time to sit and paint, whether in the English countryside, New Zealand or the beaches of Mauritius.
Deanne was runner up in the 2017 Kondinin Art Awards.
2019 has seen an expansion of her skill set, moving from acrylics to include oils.
