Katy Bridges

Creating art for Katy began as a baby pacifier technique by her parents. Born in New Zealand, the majority of childhood growing up in Tasmania, art has always been a part of Katy’s life. Katy finds meaning and bliss to her life within creative pursuits.

Her process of painting elements of nature, is a very meditative, self-absorbed process, mixing emotion, energy and her eye’s perception with oils applied by both knife and brush.

She has travelled parts of the U.K and Europe but realises that Australia has much to offer to an artist. Katy desires to explore Australia’s landscape by road on her next big adventure, while life in an old Falcon beach shack will remain home base.
