Noemie Turner

Noemie Turner

Noemie Turner is a Western Australian artist from Falcon, Western Australia where she paints her colourful landscapes both “En plein air” and in studio settings. Noemie grew up in France amongst the forests and vineyards of Burgundy and Beaujolais. Her professional career got her to travel extensively through Asia, Africa and Europe. The incredible landscapes she witnessed during her travels became a tremendous source of inspiration for her work as an artist. Having lived in Lyon and Paris, and admiring the work of Masters such as Rembrandt, Renoir and Van Gogh, she became fascinated with the expression of life and light in visual arts.

The lively community of painters in Mandurah encouraged her to start her painting journey and she fell in love with painting the moment she drew her first brush stroke. Since then, she has developed her art using a variety of media including acrylics, oils and ceramics. Noemie is constantly challenging herself with new ways to develop her techniques and has just started to successfully participate in exhibitions in the Peel Region.

Still an emerging artist, it is full of joy that she now devotes herself to Plein Air Painting in Mandurah where she is a member of Random Palette, Mandurah Plein Air Artist and of Plein Air Down Under Steering Committee.
